Make a Wish
Tomorrow we are helping make the dreams of a little boy come true.
A 5 year old boy named Joe Joe has Neuroblastoma and is currently in remission. His request to the Make A Wish Foundation was to be a farmer for a day. We have been asked to help provide a special day for him by cheering him on.
Tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, May 2nd, Joe Joe will be coming to Waterloo. (He also has a twin brother who will be with him.)

Joe Joe loves pink and purple. They asked if students would wear pink and purple that day. Or the students can wear a farmer hat/ clothes.
In class we all made signs to cheer him on and help make his day special.
This is a wonderful opportunity for the students to participate together and do something special!

We are studying the Civil War, and some students have researched about several people of that time.
After gathering facts, we created these talking biographies.
Click to listen and learn more about these famous people in history!
