Smokin' Sam

Friday Mrs. Sabo, the school nurse, came to talk to us about smoking and cigarettes.
It was very interesting!

Wow!  All of those chemicals are inside!

We also watched a video  about Smokin' Sam.  He's the MVP of the hottest new roller hockey team, sponsored by Trophy cigarettes.  Two young fans discover that Sam smokes, and they try to convince him to quit and stand up to his sponsors who are using him to sell cigarettes to the next generation of smokers.

Miss Liefer was going through her camera and found these that pictures that were never posted.

Here we are doing math with pattern blocks.
The purpose was to assign different fractional values to each block.

More than once a tear of joy and amazement came to my eyes.
I appreciate all of your generosity and kindness.  You put a lot of love, time, and thought into it.

I am very humbled and feel like the words "thank you" just aren't enough.
This has been the most memorable week.

I enjoy wearing aprons often when in the kitchen - this one is my new favorite!
 Every time I put it on, I'll think of all of you!
