Cardinals!

What a year for the Cardinals!
They won the World Series AND they came to visit Gardner Elementary!

In preparations for the visit, we decorated the school and wrote essays.
They want us to say NO to drugs, stay in school, and participate in sports.

On the last issue of Miss Liefer's Classroom News Bulletin:

It talked about “Hats on for Veterans” (Student council sponsors this event.  Wear a hat and pay $2.  Money will go to help support “Honor Flight”)

This event was scheduled for Friday, BUT it is going to be cancelled and rescheduled for a date in January!
