March Student Council Report



March Report
         Pennies for Patients was a great success! Out of our whole school we raised about $1480.93. fourth grade raised about $934.84 and fifth grade raised about $454.74.
The Lock-In is tonight! Yeah....Yeah! The doors will be locked at 6:15, so be here by then. Your parents   Do Not have to walk you in, but they Do  have  to come in and pick you up. BRING YOUR BRACELET! there will be popcorn, soda, and pizza.

Today we took our last two ISAT tests:
Math Session 3 (2 extended response questions) & Science Session 2 (41 multiple choice questions)
Shining bright wearing our yellow as the "sun sets" on the ISAT tests
Perfect Attendance all 4 days!  No Make-Up tests to do!  woo hoo!

Travel Log Update

Each day we are excited to check the mailbox for postcards.  So far we have received postcards from 18 states and 2 countries!  Ask your child about our Travel Log Project.  If they have not heard from the first person you sent it to, you might want to call or send an e-mail to make sure they received your child’s Travel Log.

It may be cold outside, but it's warm here at ISAT Island.
Today was day #3 of ISAT testing.
We took two more tests:
Reading Session 3 (20 multiple choice questions) & Math Session 2 (30 multiple choice and 3 short response)

Agriculture

Monroe County Farm Bureau is celebrating National Agriculture Month during March.
All fourth graders are participating in an Agriculture Poster Contest.

The theme for the Poster Contest is based on one of the five Ag Mags provided during classtime:
*Soybean
*Specialty Crops
*Careers
*Pork
*Dairy

Posters will be judged on neatness, accuracy, and creativity.
