Statehood of Illinois

We recently finished the chapter in social studies about how Illinois became a state.

Young Authors

Two of our students got to attend the Nineteenth Annual Monroe-Randolph Young Authors' Conference Saturday, March 29, 2014.
During the conference, they got to meet Charley Hoce.  Hoce was the keynote speaker and is a published author.  Here are the girls showing off their autographed copies of his book.




ISAT Attendance

During ISAT week we had 100% attendance!  Yay!

March Student Council Report



March Report
         Pennies for Patients was a great success! Out of our whole school we raised about $1480.93. fourth grade raised about $934.84 and fifth grade raised about $454.74.
The Lock-In is tonight! Yeah....Yeah! The doors will be locked at 6:15, so be here by then. Your parents   Do Not have to walk you in, but they Do  have  to come in and pick you up. BRING YOUR BRACELET! there will be popcorn, soda, and pizza.

The Sun is Setting on the ISAT...

Today we took our last two ISAT tests:
Math Session 3 (2 extended response questions) & Science Session 2 (41 multiple choice questions)
Shining bright wearing our yellow as the "sun sets" on the ISAT tests
Perfect Attendance all 4 days!  No Make-Up tests to do!  woo hoo!
